The Lovely Trio - Aufmesser.Faulhammer.Fuss
Faulhammer, and Aufmesser have been playing together in various configurations for several years, but the Lovely Jazz Trio they founded is a rarity in its chamber music form. Playing entirely without drums, yet with plenty of rhythm, the three musicians perform with playful ease. A recording (Sing My Soul) featuring arrangements of G.F. Handel in collaboration with Lia Pale and Matthias Ruegg (VAO) was released in 2020 and premiered at the Handel Festival in Halle an der Saale, Muth Wien, and St. Pölten. The trio's second program, "In Our Own Sweet Way," is a special treat for connoisseurs of swinging melodies, as they reinterpret their own compositions as well as well-known and lesser-known classics of the jazz repertoire. All in their own "lovely way."
