Affaere Dreyfuss Celebrates Its Anniversary with the New Album: Going Places

For the past ten years, the acclaimed sextet Affaere Dreyfuss has been a fixture of the Austrian jazz scene, renowned for its electrifying live performances, memorable melodies, and distinctive musical voice. To mark its 10th anniversary, the ensemble led by the renowned Viennese Fuss family presents its second studio album, Going Places.
The new release is both a musical travel diary and a significant artistic step forward. Bridging a century of jazz history with a collection of sophisticated original compositions, the sextet continues to refine its unmistakable sound while exploring new musical horizons.
Two Generations, One Distinctive SoundOne of the band's defining features is its unique multi-generational family lineup. Founded in 2015, Affaere Dreyfuss brings together father Martin Fuss (saxophones) and his two sons Dominik Fuss (trumpet, flugelhorn, bass trumpet) and Florian Fuss (saxophones, flute, clarinet). Completing the "Fuss Family" are three long-time musical companions who together form one of Austria's most accomplished rhythm sections: Max Tschida on piano, Johannes Strasser on double bass, and Mario Gonzi on drums.
